Coachman's Cottage, which was built in 1760, is part of Bickerstaffe Hall Farm.  The cottage was originally used by Lord Derby to house his coach and footmen when he stayed at the Hall, formerly used as a hunting lodge.  Sympathetically renovated to retain much of it’s original character, the Cottage has been tastefully converted, to provide a high standard of self catering holiday accommodation.

Located in rural countryside on a working arable farm, the cottage is surrounded by 440 acres of open farmland, and offers attractive views of Bickerstaffe Hall, and it’s beautiful gardens. Situated close to Liverpool and the seaside town of Southport, it provides an ideal base for exploring many cultural and rural attractions in the area.
